The Operator Directory (M92) and Profile Database / Chain Operator Profile (M84) modules have been updated to facilitate better linking between our clients operators and the common industry versions that we maintain. This linking will be used to improve the exchange of GPO/CMC affiliation data between Brokers and Manufacturers. However at this point the data exchange is not impacted by these fields. The change to the data exchange logic be in a week or two.

In the Chain Operator Profile (M84) module a new Type field has been added to the Details page. The Type field will allow us to designate each company as either an Operator (the default), Group Purchasing Organization, or Contract Management Company. Our clients do not have access to this module.

The Operator Directory (M92) has been changed to allow the link to a GPO or CMC to be established using a drop down instead of having the user enter the correct magic number. This change effects all brokers and manufacturers.

In addition to the the known CMC/GPOs there is also an "Unknown" choice that will allow the user to explictly not link their GPO/CMC to a profile database. Although this should be discouraged it may be required as all GPOs and CMCs are not in the Chain Operator database
