All,

I have deployed a new version of the Opportunity Pipeline to include some changes required for Rich's and/or Sara Lee.  These changes are applicable to all clients except where noted below:

Opportunity Pipeline

·          Changed the term "Product Category" on the opportunity add dialog and opportunity edit page to read "Product".  Except for Sara Lee it has been changed to read "Product Sub-Category"

·          For clients with the Budget Category feature, the Dashboard tab now has a drop down that allows the user to select a specific "Plan Category".  Changing this filter adjusts the opportunity pipeline search variables.  Currently this feature only effects Rich Products as they are the only client using the Budget Category feature.

·          Added the ability to have the Est. Dollars calculated based on Financial Margin amounts from the Product Catalog.  The appropriate financial margin is take from the first matching product catalog level.  So if a SKU is picked for the opportunity, the algorithm first checks to see if a Financial Margin amount is set for that SKU, if not it looks at the Product, and then the Category.  If multiple SKUs are specified for the opportunity, the algorihm skips the SKU level and begins at the Product level.  This feature is not currently enabled for any clients but will be enabled for Sara Lee once the Financial Margin amounts have been entered into the Product Catalog.

Distributor Portfolio

·          The Distributor Profile Operators tab has two new columns: SD and Opps.  The SD column is an indicator column to indicate if a Sales Deal exists for the operator or not.  If a Sales Deal is present a $ will appear in this column.  If the Sales Deal is active the $ will be green, if it is no longer active the $ will be read.  The ability to define a Sales Deal for an operator is currently only possible through the library module Sales Deal Manager, but a future build on Operator Portfolio will allow for user to enter and view Sales Deals.  The ETA for this feature is the end of the month.  The Opps. column is a count of the opportunities for the Operator that are in either the Idea or one of the Active stages.  It does not include Sale or No-Sale opportunities.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Michael
