CORE VALUES
It was through the vision and joint venture that Kathleen shared with Frank in 1988 that afforded Cappetta Associates the opportunity to start and flourish. Kathleen brought a level of corporate expertise and business acumen to Cappetta Associates that complimented Franks extensive knowledge and sales experience in the food sales industry. Together they were able to build one of the foremost specialty food brokerage companies in the mid-Atlantic region.
Kathleen's business and relationship building skills started early on in her career. From her business classes at Fordham University to her career in CIGNA Corporation prior to Cappetta Associates, Kathleen was able to always gain positive experiences and friendships through each professional role. When she expanded her role with Cappetta Associates, she found that she could draw upon this previous experience and take on the responsibility for operations within the company. From there, Cappetta Associates continued to grow and more and more broadline distributors sought the excellent level of customer focus that Kathleen had demonstrated. It is also through her strong managerial skills that the company's sales team has grown. Kathleen is a leader who works side by side with the staff at each and every meeting and food show, and everyone on the team is proud to call her their leader and friend. She continues to move the needle forward for each of the manufacturers we represent and is excited to continue to grow Cappetta Associates to meet and exceed our customers' needs.
Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren) and dear friends while fitting in some travel.
Patrice Cappetta-Gardner has been an integral part of Cappetta Associates for almost 30 years. She first started working part-time while in high school, handling administrative tasks while Frank and Kathleen were building the business. After attending college at Rider University, Patrice returned to Cappetta Associates and began her professional sales career. When the business was smaller, she served as an inside sales representative and handled all customer orders and interactions. As the company grew, Patrice's responsibilities and exposure outside of the company also grew. She has progressed from sales representative to account manager and most recently to Director of Sales. In her current role, Patrice is truly a "roll up your sleeves" Director she oversees food shows, works with our team on various distributor meetings and serves as a key contact for many of our manufacturer representatives. She is also Kathleen's right hand person and serves as Kathleen's back up.
In her free time, Patrice enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and camping.

In the world of restaurants and food service sales, Julie Tuck has done just about everything. Starting in the business in 1992, she owned and operated a chain of independently-owned delicatessens in the Richmond area; Dagwood's Deli was recognized by the Richmond Times Dispatch as one of the 25 fastest-growing companies in the area in 1999. Julie then ventured into the food service sales world with Sysco Food Services of Virginia, where she built lasting relationships with restaurants, caterers, country clubs, and hotels. Julie met Kathleen Cappetta in 2010 and joined Cappetta Associates, where she has developed the reputation for excellent relationships and customer service. Julie is a tireless and motivated broker and is undeniably proud to be a part of the Cappetta Family.
Julie also enjoys cooking and entertaining, health and fitness, and spending time with her family.
Justin likes to say he entered into the professional foodservice industry somewhat accidentally when he purchased a swim and tennis club in 2006, a major component of which was a small "snack shack" which he renovated and designed into a professional kitchen, servicing the Club's Café and catering business. Along with this swim and tennis club ownership, Justin has worked as a Sales Trainer and District Manager for Monster Energy and as the Food & Beverage Director of a ski resort earlier in his career. More recently, he worked as a Marketing Associate with Sysco Foods of Metro NY and then as a Regional Account Executive with Advantage Waypoint food brokers where he had primary responsibility for Sysco Foods Metro NY and Sysco Long Island.
In 2017, Justin joined the Cappetta Associates sales team as a District Manager and is responsible for the Metro New York region. Justin is married with three wonderful daughters as well as a St. Bernard, and is an avid swimmer.
Teggie began her food service career at the tender of 14, having secured the most coveted position of "soda jerk" in a local drug store in the Harrisburg area. She kept this job, expanding her expertise in fine ice cream dining throughout High School and college where she received an Associate of Science in Business degree. Teggie took some time off from her career after her marriage and the birth of her daughter and then came back to the workplace adding additional restaurant, long-term care facility, telecommunications and legal secretarial experience to her resume. At this point in her career, Teggie and her husband purchased a restaurant in downtown Harrisburg that catered mostly to state office workers. Business was very busy and Teggie took on many roles within her own business; finding that she had a true passion for the Food Service industry.
Teggie started with Sysco Central Pennsylvania as a Customer Service Representative in 1997 and thus began her desire to move up the "food chain". She was promoted to the Merchandising Department as the Non- Foods buyer which later allowed her the opportunity to be promoted to the dairy buyer position when it opened. Teggie was recognized for her outstanding work with the Master Merchant award as dairy buyer. During Teggie's tenure with Sysco, she had the opportunity to get to know the Cappetta Sales Team and, in particular, Kathleen and Frank Cappetta. After working at Sysco for nineteen years and planning for her retirement from Sysco, Teggie received a call from Kathleen with whom she had established a wonderful business relationship and personal friendship. Cappetta Associates was looking for an account manager in Central PA and Teggie was the perfect fit for this role and Teggie has grown with her role and responsibilities into a management position with our organization.
In her spare time, Teggie is passionate about food, family, good books, good friends and her dear four-legged friend Sid.
