Objective

Enter the purpose of the call. For calls related to predefined Objectives (i.e. Sales Initiatives) a brief summary of the Objective is displayed in the Objective Summary area.

Call

Enter the Sales Person and Date for the call. The Sales Person and Date can be changed until the call is finalized on the Results tab.

For call dates in the future a reminder may be set to the Sales Person. If a reminder is set, an email will be sent to the selected Sales Person in advance of the sales call.

Contact

Select the person met with or the person that will be met with during the call. If the name is not not listed, select New Contact and then provide the required information. You may also change the high-level contact information on this screen. The contact profile will be updated once the Submit button is pressed.

Results

An interaction is only complete once it has been finalized. An interaction is completed by checking the Finalize option and providing the required information.

Closing an interaction for an Opportunity allow it's Stage and Comment to be changed. High level information may also be changed.

Select the Sale, Sale LTO or No Sale for each product. For Sale and Sale LTO enter the quantity sold. For No Sale select the major reason that a sale could not be made.

Add additional products to the call by clicking on the Add Another Product link.

In order to finalize an interaction, at least one product must have a status other other than Not Shown.

Follow Up

Enter a follow-up action regarding this interaction. A task will be added to the Sales Person's task list. The follow-up action is only available once the finalize option has been checked on the Results tab
